Preliminary for Schools (B1) |

Preparation for Cambridge Preliminary for Schools (B1) exam. Preliminary for Schools (B1) students learn more complex grammatical structures that require an advanced level of reading and writing than in previous courses. The oral component of the courses are also more rigorous as students must demonstrate that they can use all these structures when communicating. Learning is based on areas of knowledge of a language (listening, speaking, reading and writing). Teachers use materials from Cambridge and resources created by our center developed according to students’ ages and language level. Preparation for First for Schools (B2) exam. The content of this course reflects a linguistic understanding and fluency with even more complex, formal structures. The level of listening comprehension and oral expression is more rigorous. Students must demonstrate their language skills in a variety of themes and situations. Learning is based on the main areas of knowledge of a language (listening, speaking, reading and writing). Teachers use materials from Cambridge and resources created by our center developed according to students’ ages and language level. Advanced (C1) |

Preparation for Cambridge Advanced (C1) exam. The Advanced (C1) level consolidates linguistic fluency skills and oral and written expression. Although the structures have already been previously introduced in previous courses, students must continue to work on using them correctly when speaking and be able to express themselves flawlessly in English. Learning is based on the main areas of knowledge of a language (listening, speaking, reading and writing). Teachers use materials from Cambridge and resources created by our center developed according to students’ ages and language level. Proficiency (C2) |

Preparation for Cambridge Proficiency (C2) exam. CPE is an upper advanced level examination. It recognises the ability to communicate spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in most complex situations. Students who pass the CPE can summarize information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation. They are approaching the linguistic competence of an educated native speaker, and are able to use the language in a range of culturally appropriate ways. - 25 sessions on Saturdays from 10am – 2pm (100 hours)
- 57 sessions on Monday/Wed. from 6:00-7:30pm (85.5 hours)
