COVID-19

Current Status

ASB was pleased to reopen our campus on September 1, 2020. Students are attending classes as normally scheduled, while also following a number of new safety procedures:
  • Facemasks required for all students in grades 1 and up, and all staff at all times except for lunch and sport. Early Childhood students may remove their masks while in their classroom with their pod.

  • Students remain with the same group of students all day that do not mix.

  • Limited student movement throughout the day.

  • Reduced number of students in the cafeteria and recess spaces at the same time.

  • Daily temperature checks. Frequent hand washing and hand gel.

Health and Safety

The school is guided by our Health and Safety Protocols, as well as the government health authorities.

Our goal is to offer on-campus learning, as long as we can ensure a safe learning environment for our students and staff. Of course, the situation is dynamic and will require us to be flexible in order to continue offering an academically rigorous and enriching program for students. If required, ASB could move to a virtual learning environment, based on the successful experience we had from March to June 2020, or possibly a hybrid model, combining both on-campus and virtual learning.
