ASB Joins UNHCR to Celebrate Refugart’s 10th Anniversary at Museu d'Història de Catalunya

In celebration of Refugart’s 10th anniversary, ASB was honored to be invited by UNHCR to visit a special exhibition at the Museu d'Història de Catalunya this past Wednesday. Nearly 20 educators and student members of the Refugart Executive Committee had the privilege of a private guided tour. Among the participants were the Refugart organizers and dedicated teachers who are integrating the refugee cause into their curriculum.

About the Exhibition

"En Fugida. Refugiats: Una genealogia del present" takes visitors on a powerful journey through history, tracing the different stages of forced displacement—from escaping to rebuilding a life in Catalonia. Through immersive storytelling, the exhibition recreates the harrowing experience of individuals forced to flee overnight, leaving everything behind except the clothes on their backs.

The annual Refugart event will take place on March 28, and the exhibition "En Fugida. Refugiats: Una genealogia del present" will remain open until March 29, offering a meaningful opportunity to engage with this powerful topic.
