At ASB, we prioritize aligning with the latest educational research and practices, which is why AI is central to our work with teachers and students. Last Friday, our entire staff reviewed ASB’s AI policy and engaged in over 20 teacher-led workshops on AI’s role in learning. Teachers left with practical tools to incorporate AI effectively, especially through platforms like Joyschooler (for elementary), Flint, Perplexity, and Magic School. ASB is proud to lead this work in preparing our students and educators to engage responsibly with AI.
Recently, we hosted a secondary parent chat on AI; for those who couldn’t attend, here are the slides from that session. ASB has worked with an international committee to finalize our AI statement and policy. Our goal is to help staff and students understand AI’s ethical implications and potential for personalized learning and feedback. To support this work with students, we’re integrating digital citizenship and AI lessons at every grade level.
