Grade 1 through 4 Hit the Great Outdoors 

Last week, our Grade 1 and 2 students headed to Can Ribas in Bigues i Riells for their end of the year overnight trip.

For many of them, it was their first time sleeping away from home, and they rose to the occasion. The days were packed with forest hikes, scavenger hunts, a maze, and night games, and the group came back tired, happy, and a little more independent than when they left.

Grade 3 and 4 students spent their days in the mountains near Banyoles, kayaking, biking, climbing, and swimming, as well as other outdoor activities. It was a great few days for building friendships, trying new things, and spending time in nature away from the classroom.
