Grade 9/10 Orchestra Performs in Local Elder Center

Last week the Grade 9 and 10 Orchestra students, together with Orchestra teacher Mr. Odeendaal, gave a special concert at the elder care center next to ASB.

The residents were so happy to welcome our students and truly enjoyed every piece they performed. Seeing the smiles, applause, and excitement from the audience made the experience unforgettable for everyone involved.

We were also delighted to see Henri, Claudi and Sofia step into the role of conductors for different musical pieces. 

Opportunities like this remind us of the power of music to bring people together across generations. Having such a warm, appreciative, and grateful audience is incredibly meaningful for our students, encouraging them to continue sharing their talents and love of music with others. We are very thankful to the residents and staff for their wonderful welcome, and we hope this can become a tradition that we repeat again in the years to come.
