An Evening of Original Voices: ASB's First Student Poetry Night

Last week, 11th graders Lucia and Dahlia organized and hosted our very first student Poetry Night. Six High School students and one alumni took the stage to share their original work, leaving the room captivated by their creativity, honesty, and courage.

Congratulations to Lucia, Dahlia, Wiyot, Elna, Eloise, Quincy and Julia (Class 2025) for sharing their voices with us, and to Lucia and Dalia for making this night happen. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Mary Ehrenworth for her writing mentorship and to Theater teacher Kaitlin Kemp for her support and coaching throughout the process.

We hope this is the first of many.
