Earlier this month, 11th grade students Dahlia Beraznik and Elna Kristensson were guest speakers in the Refugee Rights and Global Alliances class at ESADE University.

Speaking to an international audience of over 20 students from top universities like Stanford, Bocconi, and Berlin University, they shared their passion for service, the impactful work of ASB, and personal projects. Dahlia, who has been engaged in service since 4th grade, fondly shared experiences such as Books for Africa and being a member of Rotakids. Elna spoke about her time in Botswana, where she helped develop the first-ever LEGO Lab for children in a refugee camp.
They also shared about the Sharing to Learn program, the Peru Mission, and their personal projects such as Louder with Voice and StepUp, demonstrating the breadth of their commitment to making a difference.
One student commented: “I am so impressed. Being so young and having all the experiences you’ve had is truly inspiring.” Professor Grabayo and the other students were equally impressed.

It was inspiring to see ASB highlighted through the voices of our own students, showcasing how young leaders can create a global impact.
