Congratulations to Sienna (G10), Anna (G10), Ilana (G10), Maria (G9), and Sara (G9) for earning 2nd place at this summer’s Girls Go Circular Summer Hackathon in Barcelona!
Competing against teams from across Europe, our students impressed with their creativity, teamwork, and commitment to sustainability.

Hosted at Harbour Space University, the two-day event challenged participants to design solutions that promote a circular economy. The ASB team’s idea - a floating plastic island that grows plants and filters seawater - stood out for its innovation and impact.
As one of the youngest groups in the competition, they earned not only praise but also a €2000 prize for their outstanding work.
The initiative is part of the Girls Go Circular program, supported by the European Commission, which empowers young women with digital and entrepreneurial skills for a more sustainable future.
We are so proud of our students’ achievement!
