BCNMUN Conference Tackles Identities in Conflict

BCNMUN Conference Tackles Identities in Conflict

Congratulations to the entire BCNMUN team of delegates, Chairs, Admin, and Executives for a successful 12th edition of BCNMUN! With nearly 150 ASB students participating and approximately 250 participants hailing from Spain, Portugal, France, Turkey, and Canada, BCNMUN successfully debated topics surrounding our theme of Identities in Conflict: Building Bridges to Unite and Finding Solutions to Thrive.

Equally crucial to the success of the conference was our Chair Team who led each of their committees through the topics and resolutions with professionalism, sensitivity, and respect.

  • Slavyan Teofilov (11th), Anabel Escamilla (12th), and Aine Stuhan (11th)  - UN Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC)
  • Aitana Viñuales (10th), Leia Taubinger (11th), and Sofia Geambazi (11th)  - UN Human Rights Commission
  • Aoife Stuhan (11th), Martina Ribas (12th), and Alexis Magee (11th)  - Security Council
  • Lola Agüera (12th), Christina Didenko (10th), Bosco Cardenal (10th)  - Anti-Nuclear Proliferation and Arms Control Agency (ANPACA)
In addition, our Admin team of students were the backbone of this conference and truly helped to ensure that the delegates attending the conference were well taken care of and enjoyed their experience. The admin team worked collaboratively and professionally throughout the entirety of the conference and we are grateful for their effort and time over the weekend. The success of BCNMUN is due to the incredible team effort of the entire group!
