Botswana Mission Update

Our 2025 delegation arrived safely in Botswana and had an enriching experience during the first part of the mission.

In Gaborone, we met with the European delegation and gained valuable insights into the EU’s role in Africa, Botswana’s economic development, and the importance of diversification under the country's new leadership. Cultural highlights included a traditional braai and a game drive.

A special moment was dinner with Mr. Majaha, Director of Refugee Affairs, who recognized ASB as a key partner to the Ministry of Justice — a proud moment that reflects the school’s growing international impact.

While in Gaborone, we also purchased sofas, tables, and games for the first-ever Cyber Café at the Dukwi Refugee Camp, which will be powered by Starlink internet. This space will be transformative for the camp, offering a place to learn, connect, and grow.

All of this was made possible thanks to donations from RefugArt and the support of our community.

Today, we head to the camp, where the heart of our work begins on Monday. Stay tuned — and thank you again for all your support!
