Dear ASB Community,
We are proud to share the outcomes of ASB’s 4th mission to Botswana—more than just a springtime initiative, this is the continuation of a living partnership between our school, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Botswana, UNHCR, the Dukwi Refugee Camp, SOS Children’s Village, and the Delegation of the European Union in Botswana. Since our return from the April 2024 mission, our commitment has only grown. This year's impact was built on the foundations laid during the months leading up to the trip—student-led collaborations, cross-cultural learning, and ambitious, creative projects that spanned continents.
What makes this partnership truly unique in the world is its year-round nature, deep student ownership, and the way it connects a school in Barcelona with a refugee community in Botswana in ways that are meaningful, sustainable, and rooted in mutual respect.
