Econ Fair Sparks Collaborative Learning Across Grade Levels
Last week the elementary rooftop transformed into a bustling carnival as IB Economics students hosted an Econ Fair for grade 2 and 3 students. The IB students designed creative games and activities with a shared goal: maximizing profits. Meanwhile, the younger students enthusiastically participated, using "ASB Euros" to practice addition and subtraction as they decided how to spend their funds.
This unique event highlighted the power of collaborative learning, with older and younger students alike benefiting from the hands-on experience. The fair not only brought math and economics to life but also fostered a vibrant sense of community across grade levels.
