Grade 9 student Claudi Millán Solsona recently represented ASB at the AMIS High School European Honor Orchestra Festival, held last weekend at Zurich International School in Switzerland. The festival, organized by the Association for Music in International Schools (AMIS), brought together talented student musicians from 17 international schools for a weekend of intensive rehearsals and collaboration—over 15 hours of ensemble practice—culminating in a spectacular concert on Saturday evening.
Claudi is the first ASB student to participate in this highly competitive, audition-based festival, marking an important milestone for our school and showcasing his impressive commitment to violin performance.
Reflecting on the experience, Claudi shared:
“The experience of the festival was something wonderful because of the collaboration and passion that all the students showed through music.”
Claudi was accompanied and supported at the event by Mr. Guillaume Odendaal, ASB’s Middle and High School Orchestra Teacher.
