ASB Hosts the MS MathCounts Competition

ASB was honored to host the MathCounts 2025 Chapter Competition this past weekend, welcoming 27 middle school teams from 13 schools across Spain and France!

Each level of competition consists of 4 rounds - Sprint, Target, Team and Countdown Round. Our students showcased incredible talent, securing top individual and team placements.

Top 10 Individual Results (out of 108 students):

• Jue Zhang (Grade 6) – 4th place

• George Wu (Grade 7) – 6th place

• Alvin Guo (Grade 7) – 10th place

Team Results (out of 27 teams):

• ASB Team 4 (Jinqiao Jiang, Jue Zhang, Mike Liu, Zita Liu – Grade 6) – 2nd place

• ASB Team 2 (Alvin Guo, George Wu – Grade 7; Kieran Fort, Mars Huang – Grade 8) – 3rd place
