Earlier this week, our Middle School Rotakids Club wrapped up the year with a meaningful visit to the Lliga de Protecció dels Animals, a local animal shelter in Barcelona. Over the past month, students organized a donation drive, collecting needed supplies to support the shelter’s ongoing efforts to care for abandoned and rescued animals.

During their visit, students had the opportunity to personally deliver the donations, tour the facility, and learn more about the shelter’s mission and daily operations. One of the highlights of the visit was spending time with the animals, many of whom are waiting to be adopted into loving homes.

This visit not only allowed our students to see the direct impact of their efforts, but also reinforced the values of empathy, service, and community engagement that are central to the Rotakids program. A big thank you to all the families who contributed to the donation drive and supported this initiative!
