A group of seven enthusiastic ASB middle school singers (Jue, Sofia, Valery, Philippine, Teo, Abril and Aya) traveled to Lisbon last month for the MAIS Honor Choir Festival, where they had the opportunity to sing alongside talented peers from six different schools around the Mediterranean.
Before the trip, they diligently learned the music, preparing for the intense but rewarding experience ahead. Upon arrival, they spent three days rehearsing altogether, refining their harmonies and blending their voices under the guidance of their skilled conductor, Ms Joy Edenfield.
As Saturday night arrived, the students took the stage, their hard work culminating in a lovely performance. The experience not only strengthened their musical abilities but also created unforgettable memories and new friendships.
