Congratulations to Olivia A. (Grade 7) for representing ASB in the AMIS Middle School Honor Band Festival on Alto Saxophone!
Accompanied by her parents, Olivia traveled to Frankfurt International School for three days of intensive rehearsals, joining a wind band of talented students from 23 top European international schools. After successfully auditioning in November, she dedicated herself to mastering eight challenging pieces under the guidance of Mr. Kevin Hebden, ASB’s Director of Performing Arts.
The festival culminated in a spectacular performance, with over 80 musicians conducted by Kent Walter from the International School of Aberdeen. Olivia had an unforgettable experience and is already looking forward to auditioning again next year!
