Welcome back Dr. Mary Ehrenworth

Dr. Mary Ehrenworth, Senior Deputy Director of the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project has been working with our teachers and students last week. Mary met with MS & HS parents and reflected on key study habits and how parents can support students to thrive academically. Our HS faculty worked on fostering independence in the classrooms, and the value of being joyful together, and received feedback on best instructional practices. Some of the teachers joined Mary on "instructional rounds" and in "lab site" classroom experiences focused on giving students tips about responsive groups, peer talk, choice, and trust. It's always a pleasure to welcome Dr. Ehrenworth to ASB.
