Celebrating Teacher Innovation: Action Research at ASB

This year, a dedicated group of ASB educators participated in a yearlong action research project aligned to our professional growth model and designed to elevate classroom practices.

These teachers investigated innovative instructional strategies directly inside their classrooms to enhance student clarity, depth of learning, and a sense of care and belonging. From exploring AI as a writing partner in high school and maximizing curiosity in physics, to strengthening fine motor skills in PK4, and exploring identity through self portraits and practicing sentence starters for kindness in the elementary school their projects spanned all grade levels. By analyzing real-time data and student feedback, our staff continues to model the very lifelong learning we instill in our students.
