Congratulations to Team Spain on yet another successful participation at the World Schools Debating Championships 2024 (WSDC) held July 16-26 in Belgrade, Serbia. This competition is the highest level of high school debate. We are proud to have 4 team members from the American School of Barcelona represented (Ana Rodriguez del Pozo ‘24, incoming eleventh graders Ayaan Tadesse, Quinten Meyer, and Luna Monje Indahsari) and three ASB alumni coaches, Zachary Freer ‘23, Karolina Tudman ‘22, and Jake Anderson ‘20. ASB parent, Mr. Peter Freer, was also the team manager and worked on all the logistics.Congratulations to all contestants on your impressive efforts, and kudos and appreciation to our alumni and parents who supported the initiative.
