The Admissions Office works closely with the Parents Association to connect each new family with an ambassador family that has children of similar ages. Ambassador families typically reach out by email in June, offering helpful advice and a warm welcome. 

Our Counselors in the Middle and High School coordinate with student ambassadors to welcome each new student (6th grade and up) via email in June, helping students establish connections before the start of the new school year.

At the end of August, we host a New Family Orientation for all parents and students. The format varies across the different divisions, but the goal is the same - to help new students feel welcome and confident before the first day of school, and to help parents understand how we will be supporting their children and how things work at the school.

During the first weeks of September, we host Welcome Coffees at our campus "Chiringuito" (outdoor café) for new families in each division (Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High), allowing parents to make deeper connections with other new families with similar aged children. 

On one of the first Friday afternoons in September, the Admissions Office, in collaboration with the Parents Association, hosts an all-school Ice Cream Social event. It's the perfect opportunity to relax and mingle with new and returning families.

Prior to joining ASB, each family will be given access to the Parent Portal, where you will find all sorts of helpful information, including:
